Swimmers wishing to join Fins C.S.C. should make arrangements to come along for assessment to Kirkcaldy Swimming Pool on a Friday evening, between 6:00pm and 7:00pm. The assessment is carried out so that the new member can be placed in the appropriate Teaching or Competitive training Squad.

To arrange an assessment for the purpose of joining Fins C.S.C., a prospective member should contact Chief Coach Ian Lewis or Depute Chief Coach Lindsay Lewis at the Pool or Phone 01592 268037. If Ian or Lindsay are unavailable, contact the person manning the Fins enquiry desk on the spectating balcony of Kirkcaldy Swimming Pool on a Friday evening and they will arrange for the swimmer to be directed to the appropriate Teacher for assessment.

Once a new swimmer has completed their assessment the parent(s) should contact the person manning the Fins enquiry desk on the balcony and carry out the following to become a member of Fins C.S.C.:

• Fill out a Fins C.S.C. Membership Form and give it to the Membership Secretary.
• Pay Annual Membership Fee to Membership Secretary or Treasurer (Cheques payable to Fins C.S.C.).
• Complete standing order for monthly teaching/training fees.
• Once these transactions are completed, the swimmer becomes a probationary member of Fins and may now swim with the group into which their assessment placed them.
